10:30 AM TREE-Mendous Christmas Mrs. Soyka's Class - Central Cambria Elementary School, Ebensburg, PA Every year Cambria Elementary places a Christmas tree inside the front hall. The students from the different grade levels make decorations to hang on the tree. Fourth grade students from will tell the story of the Christmas tree by reciting original poetry.
11:00 AM Holidays Celebrations in Africa Dr. Mbeje and Dr. Dinar, University of Pennsylvania , Philadelphia, PA In Africa, like other parts of the world people have different celebrations and festivals that commemorate social, cultural and religious aspects of their lives. While some of these celebrations are unique in terms date, time, dress and adornment, other celebrations are cross-cultural and bear lot of similarities with other parts of the world. Dr. Mbeje (South Africa), and Dr. Dinar (Sudan) presentations' will focus mainly on how people in South Africa celebrate Christmas, and how the people in Sudan celebrate Eid Alftr holidays. The presentations will allow students to understand how different cultures celebrate the same holidays and the similarities and differences between African and American celebrations of holidays.

11:50 AM Tradition of Gift Giving Bonnie Westric's Class, Glendale Elementary School, Flinton, PA Our first grade is going to demonstrate making holiday wreath decorations that they will be taking to the local nursing home to give to the residence as gifts for Christmas.
12:20 PM Christmas Angels Hiram G. Andrews Center, Johnstown, PA Students at the Hiram G. Andrews Center participate in the Christmas Angel program, which benefits the Woman’s Help Center. The students will explain how the program works and what they have gained from their involvement.
12:50 PM Christmas in Mexico Lyn Parmer's Class, St. Paul School, Taylor, TX K thru 5th grades will present Feliz Navidad-Mexico traditions.
1:20 PM Holidays Away from Home Karen Ditzler, Mt. Zion Elementary School, Mt. Zion, PA Second graders will share some of the things they are doing to bring some holiday cheer to our US Servicemen and women who are overseas for the holidays.
1:50 PM Open Floor All Schools & Chatroom This will be an opportunity for students & teachers to talk to each other over the videoconference & chat room.
2:10 PM Hope for Henry Superhero Toy Drive Laurie Strongin, Jewish Primary Day School, Washington, DC Students from the Jewish Primary Day School will talk about the their Superhero Toy Drive and why it is important to them (taped).
2:40 PM A Franciscan Christmas Saint Francis University, Loretto, PA Fr. Brad from Saint Francis University will show the university's Franciscan crèche.
3:10 PM Open Floor All This will be an oppurtunity for all participating schools to interact & ask questions for each other.
